Pittsburgh Center for the Arts/Pittsburgh Filmmakers, Biennial Artists, PCA School, in collaboration with Karen Sloneker and Music Together First Notes, The Saturday Light Brigade are delighted to host :
Biennial Family Fun Day at the PCA Campus
Sunday 6.29.08, 12-5pm
This event will be a time for music and dancing and sing-a-long songs, happy, painted faces, goodie bags with healthy treats, t-shirts, and lots of family fun!

12:00 Welcome and Introduction by the Saturday Light
Brigade on the Pavilion. Music to follow throughout the event.
12:30 Music Together Drum Circle Kick-Off with Karen Sloneker at the
Pavilion
1:30 Family Art Olympics with Tom Sarver on the Marshall Lawn.
1:00-4:00 Art Activities, underwritten in part by the Ellis School:
- Coloring Activity—Envision and Design your own Sign! (on the Marshall lawn)
- Printmaking—Join Artist Lindsay Woge in a Screen-printing Activity (Scaife, 1st floor)
- Encyclopedia Constructica—Make your own Sketchbook with Encyclopedia Destructica Book Artists Chris Kardambikis and Jasdeep Khaira (on the Marshall lawn)
- Ceramics—Join Artist Angela Juliussen for hand-building and wheel techniques (Scaife, basement)
- Media—participate in an Animation activity with Filmmakers at the Center (Scaife, 2nd floor)

2:00 Hot Metal Mold-Making with Carley Jean Parrish and Ed Parrish, Jr. at
the Pavilion
2:00-3:30- Hot Metal Mold Carving
3:30 Hot Metal Pour (pick up work between 4:30 and 5:00)
4:00-5:00 Music Together Concert on the Marshall Patio
