Tonight at the Melwood Screening Room, 7:30pm Reception
A selection of short film from the archives of Pittsburgh's found-film enthusiasts, titled Kaleidokokascopic, screens as part of the PCA's Biennial exhibit. Orgone's archives include home movies, industrial and educational films, experimental works, documentaries and hard-to-classify. Highlights here include:
"The Story of Time by Rolex" a gorgeous 1951 animation with music by the london Symphony Orchestra
"Silent Rushes" local premiere of zombie test footage from director George Romereo
